Qualification: Candidates must possess Graduate/ BL/ LLB/ B.Com/ B.E/
B.Tech/ MCA/ MBA/ MBBS from recognized Institute.
Age limit:
Candidates must possess minimum 21 years of age and maximum 30 years of age as
on 01-03-2013.
Application Fee:
Candidates need to pay the fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs.500/- as
application fee in favour of General Insurance Corporation of India, payable at
Mumbai. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH & employees of GIC & GIPSA member
companies.
Selection Procedure:
Candidates are selected on the basis of written test, Group discussion &
Interview.
How to Apply for GIC
Recruitment 2013: Eligible candidates have to apply through online from the
official website of General Insurance
Corporation of India (GIC) which is www.gicofindia.in. Take print out
copies of filled application form, send it along with DD & photocopies of
relevant documents and super scribe the envelope as “Application for the post
of Assistant Manager In GIC Re” by ordinary / speed post on or before 08-04-2013
to the Advertiser – GIC Re, post bag no 99, GPO Kolkatta, Kolkatta – 700001.
Process for Online Application:
1. Candidates can log
on to the website gic.eadmissions.net
2. Enter on the “Advertisement” to view the full details
before applying.
3. “Apply Online” to fill up the application form.
4. Enter the DD details in the appropriate place.
5. Please choose your nearest Written Test Centre.
6. Candidates have to upload passport size photograph while
submitting online application.
7. After filling the application, press save button.
8. After submitting online application, take printout of the
acknowledgement slip, put signature and send along with the original DD as
mentioned above.
